The harvesting begins

With the CSA kicking off this week, today marked our first official CSA harvest day of the season.  It is great to be back out picking all the beautiful vegetables, dreaming up recipes, and catching up with volunteers who we haven’t seen in a year.  I feel like I say it every year about this time, but our lettuce is the nicest we’ve ever grown and the flavor is amazing.  Hello summer salads.

Here is what we are harvesting this week for the CSA:

Full Shares: Rhubarb, scallions, cilantro, head lettuce, arugula, chives, radishes,  and spinach.

Half Shares: Rhubarb, Scallions, Cilantro, head lettuce, braising mix, spinach and radish.
